For the exhibition yard I did a sound installation based on the idea of the assemblage of sounds. The random constitution of groups by sounds. Groups of residence and bypassing sounds. The interaction which change them and make residence moving and bypassing sounds stand still. Groups create open spaces, which get closed and disappear again. Spaces where information gets exchanged and distributed from one space to another, ideas appear and associations are created.

The Installation is based on “electronic” sounds, which get played back on nine playback devices. The devices get positioned in the space in groups of 2 to 4. The Sounds made by electronic means but they reassemble the sounds of animals, things or humans, they are sounds which activate an associative hearing.
